Note: As of January 20, 2025, our radiology (x-ray) equipment is in the process of being delivered, installed and inspected. Any horses needing x-ray imaging before then will be referred to NC State Veterinary Hospital (contact information at the bottom of this page.) Lameness/ Performance

Lameness examination

Diagnostic nerve and joint blocks

Musculoskeletal imaging: radiography, ultrasonography

Intrasynovial therapies: joint, tendon sheath and intrabursal injections

Equilibration: floating with power or hand floats to reduce enamel points and hooks

Physical examination, including evaluation of eyes, mouth, neurologic status, and for previous surgical scars

*Kardinal Mobile Equine Veterinary Services, PLLC offers on-farm emergency services for established clients. Established clients are those who have had a horse(s) seen by this practice for scheduled care within a year. Please see our Hours and Contact Information for more information or call us at (919) 619-9214 for emergency care. All other emergency cases, or those that are determined to need in-hospital care, are referred to the NC State University Veterinary Hospital.
